At Leak & Sons Funeral Chapels, we've been serving as a funeral home and director in Country Club Hills, IL, since 1933. We provide compassionate services including obituaries, cremation, floral arrangements, and a repast room for gatherings. My mother's visitation and funeral were held at the Matteson location. The staff, from beginning to end was very professional and attentive to our concerns and questions. The facility is quite nice, with a repast room in the lower level. There was an issue with their media system during the visitation service the night before my mother's funeral service. The staff immediately sought a remedy until it could be repaired. And as promised, the following day, it was repaired.

Better late than never....my family sought out services for my father in 2021 and then again in 2024 for my oldest sister. My father had a traditional military funeral with his casket decorated with U.S Marine medallions. The visitation, burial everything went smoothly with the help of all the staff at the Country Club Hills location. Leak Jr was very helpful, empathetic and professional. Last year in April my oldest sister passed and her service was a memorial because she was cremated. Her service was in Matteson and again the staff were 100% there for my family. I'm late posting this because unfortunately after burying family, grieving and trying to move on will have people neglect to show appreciation for making things easier. Today I left out of the grocery store and walked past Leak Jr and he spoke...I spoke and continued pushing my shopping cart and hesitated and called to him, he turned and I said "Thank you." He immediately said you're welcome and I just mentioned his funeral home was there for my father and sister. I'm glad I was able to express my gratitude on behalf of my mom, sister and son because people should know when they have a positive experience.
